On June 17, 2023, the 2nd annual Lebo Pride Celebration took place in the Mt. Lebanon Main Park. It was so much fun and you can see it in every single person that was there.

Opening Ceremony
Watch the opening ceremony that kicked off the second annual Lebo Pride Celebration 2023. This video was live-streamed to our public Facebook page though we did experience technical difficulties in the middle. This video has been edited to combine the two separate streams.
Speakers in order of appearance: Lebo Pride President Asta Kill (she/her), Mt. Lebanon School Board President Jacob Wyland (he/him), Mt. Lebanon Commission President Andrew Flynn (he/him), and Pennsylvania Representative Dan Miller (he/him).
Guest Speakers
Our opening ceremony included Lebo Pride President Asta Kill, and guest speakers Pennsylvania State Representative Dan Miller, Mt. Lebanon School Board President Jake Wyland, and Mt. Lebanon Commission President Andrew Flynn. In the afternoon, we heard from Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis and Pennsylvania State Representative Jessica Benham.
Yoga
The early birds enjoyed some relaxing yoga led by Tammy Ziccardi from YogaSoul.
Drag Queen Storytime with Akasha L Van-Cartier
The Last Lady of Pittsburgh was surrounded by children and families as she read them stories and engaged them in silly songs.
Lip Sync Battle
A new activity introduced this year was the Lip Sync Battle where anyone of any age could register as a challenger and perform on stage to their song of choice. We watched a diversity of performances from someone transforming in front of our eyes, to a family singing their hearts out to Frozen, and other duets and solos in a variety of genres.
Renaissance City Choir
The RCC gave an immaculate performance on our stage!
Wings of Transcendence
The theme this year was transition, and the art installation by Ashley Hodder included a mural of butterfly wings for people to stand in front of and have their photos taken.
